Training times for the year are Tuesday from 7-9pm & Thursday from 7:30-9:30 pm in the PE Hall and Saturday & Sunday, 12-4 pm, PE Hall. (Saturday and Sunday is subject to bookings & availability) All levels and beginners welcome. The system we teach is based in Jiu-Jitsu and Kenpo, supplemented by European Boxing methodology to result in a broad-based and highly flexible approach to Martial Arts. All classes begin with a warm up which suits the needs of the session, followed by training in various aspects of Martial Arts including (but not limited to) blocking, striking, locking, throwing and control and restraint methods. We regularly travel to seminars and cross-training sessions (both at home and abroad) which usually feature instructors from a variety of other Martial Arts. This helps to further contribute to the flexibility and versatility that has become the trademark of MU Self-Defence students. The sign up fee to join us is €2.
